its just too hot . . .

to knit.

I have two projects that are just this side of getting done.  Wingspan needs about ten more rows and a neck edging.  The entrelac scarf needs more length . . .

But it is too hot to knit.  In the summer, I will sit on the back porch and knit in the evening.  It isn't too bad, even when its hot.  However, we have a new member in our family:

Bella will NOT leave my knitting alone.  She thinks that her purpose in life is to attack the yarn.  Very funny. Kind of irritating.

So if I am on the porch knitting, she is helping me. Therefore, I am not knitting.  Instead, I play with Bella.

And it is just too hot to knit in the house.  Of course, I could break out some cotton and do cloths or something but instead, I turn on the fans and read.

Just finished "Hostage" by Robert Crais.  It was very very good.  I, by the way, love my Nook Tablet.
