So unusual . . . January in Cleveland

Knock on wood but we have had one of the mildest winter on record.  We had the rainest 2011 and a super mild winter.  

This is out my office window on January 13.  It was, so far, the worst day of the winter.  About 2 minutes before I took this picture, you could only see the trees and not any of the other buildings.  It was horribly blustery and cold and took me two hours to get home.  In fact, my husband called and told me I should leave early because the drivers were being stupid.  The usual.

 Today the weather is absolutely gorgeous.  Current temperature is 58 with the low being 47.  I am so excited. I am going to open windows.  Oops, my windows don't open but look at this view.

Sunshine.  And look . . . you can see the buildings and grass.  And it is January.  In Cleveland.  OMG.

I do think that I am going to have to make me one of these.  I especially like the purple and black.
